08.09.08 // ISG on International Banking Forum
On September 4 to 7, 2008, the Association of Russian Regional Banks in cooperation with the World Bank and European Bank for Reconstruction and Development held the 6th International Banking Forum “Banks of Russia – 21st Century” in Sochi.
The Forum included, among others, the conference “Banks and non-financial sector of economy: Russia in context of world experience”, round tables “Credit Process and banking risks: threats and how to neutralize them” and “Partnership between state and private sector in banking: problems and solutions”, as well as the extended meeting of the International Coordinating Council of banking associations of CIS countries, Eastern and Central Europe.
On ISG’s behalf, the forum was attended by Alisa Melnikova, ISG Director for Work with Financial Institutions, and Julia Shevchuk, Head of Analytical Department.
